NEXA Child Safety Standards
Last updated: September 13, 2026
NEXA is committed to maintaining a safe environment and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
1. Adults Only
NEXA is intended exclusively for users aged 18 years or older. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to create or maintain a NEXA account.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
NEXA strictly prohibits:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Sexual exploitation or abuse of minors.
- Grooming or attempts to establish inappropriate sexual contact with minors.
- Solicitation, distribution, possession, or promotion of sexual content involving minors.
- Any content or behavior that facilitates, promotes, or encourages child exploitation.
2a. Group chats and calls
Any member who sees such content in a group should leave it immediately and report it; the member who created a group can delete it for everybody, and NEXA removes groups and accounts involved in such content regardless. The same prohibitions apply everywhere on NEXA, including group chats and voice or video calls. Sexual content involving a minor, grooming, and any attempt to obtain images of a minor are prohibited on a call exactly as in a message, and are reported to the competent authorities.
NEXA does not record calls, so if something happens on a call, end it and report the member immediately with as much detail as you can give. Reports are reviewed by an administrator.
2b. Photos and videos in chat
Members who are connected (one of them has liked the other) can send photos and videos to each other. This surface carries the same zero-tolerance rule as every other part of NEXA: any image or video that sexualises a minor, or that depicts a minor in a sexual context, results in immediate removal of the account and a report to the competent authorities and, where applicable, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Attachments can be reported from inside the conversation. A reported attachment is reviewed by a NEXA administrator, and any report involving a suspected minor is treated as the highest priority.
3. Reporting
NEXA provides in-app reporting tools that allow users to report profiles or behavior that may violate NEXA's safety standards.
Reports involving suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation are treated as high-priority safety matters. Every report is classified automatically the moment it is filed, and a report that mentions a minor is placed at the top of the queue for an administrator. Every live selfie is also checked automatically for signs that the person may be under 18; when adulthood cannot be confirmed the verification is rejected and the profile stays out of Discover.
4. Enforcement
NEXA may remove prohibited content, restrict or permanently terminate accounts, preserve relevant information where legally required, and cooperate with appropriate authorities when necessary.
5. Compliance
NEXA is committed to complying with applicable child safety laws and regulations and to taking appropriate action regarding reports of suspected child sexual abuse and exploitation.
6. Child Safety Contact
