Delete your NEXA account and associated personal data in the app, on the web, or by email.

How to delete your account

You can delete your NEXA account yourself at any time, in the Android app or on the web. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

In the NEXA Android app

Open NEXA and sign in.
Go to Settings → Privacy & account.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm the deletion.

On the web

Sign in at nexameetlove.com/app.
Open your account section.
Choose Delete account.
Enter your password and choose a reason, then confirm.

Cannot sign in? Email NEXA Support from the email address associated with your NEXA account and we will delete it for you.

What will be deleted

Deleting your account removes, permanently and without a recovery period:

Your sign-in account, your profile and your public profile
Your profile photos, verification selfie and chat backgrounds
Every conversation you were part of, with its messages, photos, videos, voice notes and files
Your membership of every group (a group with fewer than two remaining members is deleted with its content)
Your likes, passes, blocks and the reports you made
Your notification tokens, subscription entitlement and safety or moderation state
Your Google Play purchase links and gift records

Information that may be retained

Only the following remains after deletion:

Anonymous payment bookkeeping that Google Play requires NEXA to keep
The reason you gave for leaving, which is not linked to you
Safety reports that other members filed about your account, and the record of how they were handled, which may be retained as safety evidence as permitted by law

Information may also be kept where the law requires it, for example for fraud prevention, security or dispute resolution. See the Privacy Policy, section 13, for details.

Important

Uninstalling the NEXA app does not delete your NEXA account. Use Delete account in the app or on the web, or send us the email request above. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions as well, so that it does not renew.
