NEXA Community Guidelines

NEXA is an adults-only dating and social connection service. These guidelines apply to profiles, photos, messages, interactions, virtual gifts and other user-generated content.

1. Be respectful

Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, bully, or repeatedly contact someone who does not want further contact. Respect blocks and boundaries. If you simply do not want to see someone, hide them; if you want no contact at all, block them.

What you see on NEXA stays on NEXA: do not screenshot, record or share another member's profile, photos or messages outside the app. The Android app blocks screenshots and screen recording; on the web the same rule applies. This covers voice notes and "view once" photos too: a voice note is as private as a message, and a photo somebody sent to be seen once is not yours to keep in any form.

On NEXA a conversation opens from the first like, in either direction - there is no waiting. That is an invitation to talk, not an obligation: a like, a super like or a message gives nobody a claim on your attention, and "no" or silence is an answer. A super like is a friendly way to stand out, not a way to pressure anyone.

1a. No discrimination

NEXA does not allow discrimination, slurs, hate speech or hostility towards anyone because of their race, ethnicity, nationality, skin colour, gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, religion, disability or age - in profiles, messages, groups, calls or reports. A discrimination report that NEXA verifies leads to a permanent ban of the account. Report it with the reason "Discrimination or hate speech". Gender, orientation and who someone is interested in are theirs to share or keep private - never disclose, mock or question another member's identity.

2. Be authentic

Do not impersonate another person, use deceptive identities, or upload photos that you do not have the right to use. Do not misrepresent yourself to obtain money or other benefits.

3. What your profile photos have to be

Every photo on your profile has to be a real photograph of you, with your own face clearly visible. That applies to the first photo, which is the one your identity is checked against, and to every photo you add afterwards.

These are rejected: a photo of somebody else; a photo of an animal, an object, a landscape or a cartoon; a picture with no recognisable face in it; a photograph of another photograph or of a screen; an image generated or altered so that it no longer shows your real appearance; and any photo you do not have the right to use.

A profile whose photos break this rule is not approved, and one that keeps submitting them is removed from NEXA. Adding further photos after your identity has been approved does not start the review again, but those photos are held to the same rule and can be reported by anyone who sees them.

Every photo on your profile is visible to every verified member, not only the first one, so each of them has to follow this rule. Your live selfie and every new profile photo are checked automatically the moment they arrive (face present, one person, not a screen or another photograph, not edited or generated, the same person as the profile, adult), and an administrator can review any decision. A rejected selfie tells you why, and you can submit a new one.

4. No scams or financial exploitation

Do not request money, promote investment schemes, sell financial opportunities, or use NEXA to defraud or financially exploit other members.

Messages are screened automatically for the patterns scams use - links, money talk, the same text sent to many people, sending too fast. A message can be held or refused, and an account that behaves like a scam is suspended until an administrator has looked at it.

5. No illegal or abusive content

Illegal content, credible threats of violence, sexual exploitation, and other abusive conduct are prohibited. Child sexual abuse or exploitation is strictly prohibited.

6. Adults only

Users must be 18 or older. Do not facilitate contact between minors and adults for sexual or exploitative purposes. Suspected underage accounts should be reported immediately.

NEXA never uses your device location - no GPS, no location permission, no distance between members. Other members see only the city and country on your profile, and whether you are online. Do not ask anyone for their address, workplace or live location, and do not share yours with someone you have just met.

7. Report and block

Use NEXA's reporting and blocking tools when you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines. Reports may be reviewed and may result in content removal, account restrictions or termination. A report is classified and scored automatically and then handled as new, investigating and resolved; the answer is noted, a warning or a ban. One report alone never bans anyone, several separate reports about the same account do. The person you report is never told who reported them. Hiding someone is private and tells them nothing; blocking removes you from each other's NEXA entirely.

8. Group chats and calls

Messages are translated for the other person automatically: write naturally in your own language and it arrives in theirs, in a one-to-one chat and in a group alike. Translations can be imperfect - if something reads wrongly, ask before you assume. Groups are part of the yearly plan. You can create a group with members you are connected with who look for friendship or who share interests with you. Group chats are shared spaces: everything you post is visible to every member of the group, and the same standards apply there as in a one-to-one conversation. Do not add someone to a group to harass them, and do not repost private messages, photos or personal details from another conversation. Anybody can leave a group at any time from its options; the member who created a group can delete it for everybody. If a group makes you uncomfortable, leave it and report it - reports about groups are reviewed like any other report. Groups hold up to 32 members, and any member can start a voice or video call for the whole group - up to 32 people on one call. On any call - one-to-one or group - the same standards apply as in writing: no harassment, no threats, no sexual content the other person has not asked for, nothing illegal. NEXA never records calls; you must not record, photograph or share what somebody shows you in a call without their clear consent. Backgrounds and effects are for calls only: never use them to pass yourself off as somebody else, and keep your profile and verification photos real. You can reply to a specific message by quoting it; do not quote somebody to mock them or to take their words out of context.

Deleting a message - for yourself, or for everybody as its sender - does not undo a report that was already made about it; NEXA keeps a reported message for as long as the report is handled. Voice and video calls are between connected members only - one of you has liked the other. Recording, screenshotting or streaming a call without the other person's consent is not allowed and may be illegal where you live. Nudity, sexual acts and any sexual content involving a minor are prohibited on calls exactly as they are elsewhere on NEXA. If a call makes you uncomfortable, end it, then block and report the member.

Automatic translation is a convenience, not an excuse: you are responsible for what you send, including when it is translated. Messages are translated straight from what you wrote, by the best available engine, but translations can still be wrong, so do not rely on them for anything important.

Hanging up ends a one-to-one call for both people at once. Nobody has to stay on a call: end it whenever you want to, and block and report the member if they made you uncomfortable. Message and keyboard sounds are yours to keep or switch off under Settings → Sounds.

9. Virtual gifts

Gifts are a friendly gesture. Do not use them to pressure, to buy sexual content or contact details, or to get around a block. Gifts carry no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

10. Photos and videos you send

You can send a photo or a video to somebody you are connected with. Ask before you send anything intimate, and accept the answer. Sending sexual images to a person who has not asked for them is harassment and is treated as such.

Never send an image of another person without their agreement, never pass off somebody else's picture as your own, and never send an image of a minor in any context. Attachments are reviewed by an administrator when they are reported, and an account is removed when the report is upheld.

11. Enforcement

NEXA may take action when necessary to protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, or enforce these guidelines. Action may include removing content, restricting features, suspending accounts or permanently terminating access. Verified discrimination or hate speech results in a permanent ban. Some decisions are taken automatically; every one of them is recorded, can be reviewed by an administrator and can be reversed. If you believe a decision about your account is wrong, write to the safety contact below from the email address of your account.
